About the product
This striking Bauhaus poster from 1923 captures the essence of a minimalist landscape with a bold, abstract interpretation of a sunset or sunrise. A large, vibrant red semicircle dominates the upper portion of the white canvas, creating a powerful focal point reminiscent of a radiant sun. Below this, a series of precise white horizontal lines against a gradient of light yellow evoke a serene horizon or a calm body of water. The “BAUHAUS” lettering, in white sans-serif font, is subtly integrated into the bottom left, balanced by the year “1923” on the right. The simplicity of form and the impactful use of color create a timeless and universally appealing image, embodying the Bauhaus ideal of achieving maximum effect with minimal elements.
