Handling Tips

What not to do while handling your art

  • It is strongly suggested that you clean your hands with soap / use clean gloves before handling the art to avoid smudges

  • Use both hands and hold it by opposite corners (very gently) to avoid breaking the frame

  • Whenever possible, Do not touch the area of the painting that has been printed to avoid breaking of the acrylic sheet

Hanging Tips

Where and How to keep your precious art

  • LIGHT

Make sure to keep your art away from direct sunlight to avoid yellowing of the print (does not apply for laminated / framed prints)

  • HUMITIDY

Maintain a relative humidity between 35 and 55%; if humidity is too high the print can be damaged by mold or insects, but if it’s too low the paper can become brittle

  • TEMPERATURE

keep prints in a cool environment. Don't hang prints near areas that get too hot or cold, like radiators, or air-conditioners. Warm or moist conditions accelerate deterioration and encourage mold growth and insect activity.

  • POLLUTION

Keep away from dust, dirt and other pollutants for the best protection. Light dust can be brushed away with a clean dry cloth

Cleaning Tips

How to clean your art

  • FRAME CLEANING

Always use a soft and clean cotton cloth to clean the frame. Dirty cloth and other materials might leave scratches

  • GLASS CLEANING

Only use a soft and clean cotton cloth to clean the glass / acrylic sheet. Dirty cloth and other materials might leave scratches. You can use both dry and wet cloth but Never use detergents or chemicals like colin

  • PRINT CLEANING

Never clean the part of your art that is print either in case of fine art prints or canvas print as it may lead to discolouration of the art
